Showa Aluminum Can Corporation changed it's name to ALTEMIRA Co., Ltd. on July 1, 2022 and has made a fresh start by changing management by combining the group's unified functions.

We have operated under Alpha Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. (AJH) as a parent company, which was established by Apollo Global Management, Inc., a US-based global alternative investment company.
As of July 1, 2022, AJH has changed its name to ALTEMIRA Holdings Co., Ltd. and we also have changed our name to ALTEMIRA Co., Ltd. In conjunction to this change, our Group Company, Universal Can Corporation has changed its name to ALTEMIRA Can Co., Ltd.
ALTEMIRA and ALTEMIRA Can, in the same aluminum can industry, will remain separated companies for the time being, but we will unify our point of contact in ALTEMIRA and will operate as “One ALTEMIRA.”

The company names and management of Hanacans JSC, Sakai aluminium Corporation, and MA Aluminum Corporation., all now part of ALTEMIRA Group, will remain unchanged. We look forward to your continued patronage and support.
